The HIRM103G is a high-power 850 nm AlGaAs infrared LED molded in water-clear plastic with a spherical side-view lens. Its compact 2.9 mm package directs infrared output sideways for space-constrained optical sensing assemblies.
Operating Notes
- Use a regulated constant-current driver and do not exceed the 50 mA continuous forward-current rating.
- Observe pin polarity: pin 1 is cathode and pin 2 is anode.
- Apply standard ESD precautions and verify thermal performance in the final assembly.
- For pulse operation, the 500 mA rating applies at 100 microseconds pulse width and 10 ms period.
