The SK6803-T52491H4RGBP6-VC-E-A-002 is a 24 V addressable RGB LED that integrates the LED dies and controller in a compact 5249 top-view SMD package. Its single-wire protocol supports automatic signal reshaping and long cascaded pixel chains for automotive ambient lighting, addressable strips and RGB modules.
Control and Integration
Color data is transmitted in 24-bit GRB order at up to 800 Kbps. Each channel provides 256 grayscale levels, while the integrated power-on reset keeps the LED off during startup. At a 30 fps refresh rate, a cascade can contain fewer than 1,024 pixels.
Application Circuit Notes
- Install decoupling capacitors between adjacent LEDs for stable IC operation.
- For short-distance soft or rigid strips, the datasheet recommends approximately 500 Ω protection resistors at both data input and data output; validate the final values with the actual signal waveform.
